On Thursday, the Raiders (41-11) took game one of the three game series in Gainesville, securing a bid to the FCSAA State Tournament with a decisive 19-7 five inning win. The offense could not be stopped as the team pounded out 19 hits.
The Raiders broke the game open with 11 runs in the third inning, taking a 17-2 lead. 15 batters came to the plate and grand slams by
Rylie Brashears and Ang Badalament were the big blows in the inning.

The Raiders will play St. Pete in the first round of the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 tournament on Friday, May 5 at 1 p.m at the National Training Center in Clermont.
