SANFORD, FLORIDA - The Raiders had a busy Spring Break, playing 9 games in one week. SSC opened in Columbus, GA at the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Lead-Off Classic posting a 3-2 record. They defeated Lansing Community College 16-0, Jones College 2-0 and Wabash Valley College 9-1 on the first day. On the second day the bats went silent, as they lost 1-0 to Des Moines Area Community College and 6-5 in 8 innings to Illinois Central College. Pitcher Keivana Durand pitched her second no-hitter of the season in the win against Lansing.  Alisha Wagoner was named to the All-Tournament Team, as she hit .800 in the 5 games.

During two mid-week doubleheaders, the Raiders defeated Florida State College of Jacksonville 9-2 and 7-1. They finished up the week with a sweep of South Florida State College 5-0 and 14-1. Against the Panthers the team pounded out a season high 19 hits in game 2 and Keivana Durand recorded her 100^th strikeout of the season. The team is currently 26-6 overall and currently ranked #4 in the FCSAA State poll and #10 in the NJCAA National poll.

This week the team hosts St. Johns River on Tuesday at 2 p.m., then begins conference play at Daytona State (DSC) on Thursday at 4 p.m. Seminole will host the DSC Falcons on Saturday at 1 p.m.
