Melbourne, FLORIDAÂ - The Raider Softball team (14-1) extended their winning streak to 14 games, with a road sweep of Eastern Florida State College (4-10) 10-0 and 7-2.Â
The team pounded out 14 hits in game 1, led by Angelina Badalament and Paige Weinmann who each had 3 hits. Badalament also picked up the win in the circle, as she ran her record to 5-0 on the season. The offense didn't let up in the second game (15 hits), even with a slow start. Down 1-0 after three, the bats came alive in the middle innings as the Raiders scored in three consecutive innings to take a 7-2 lead. Alisha Wagoner (cover photo) led the offense collecting four hits and two stolen bases. Keivana Durand (5-0) went the distance, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out 8.

SSC will host Gulf Coast State College on Saturday in a battle of teams ranked in the FCSAA.

About the Seminole State Raiders:
