PALATKA, Florida - The Raiders (4-1) swept St John's River State College (2-4) 11-3 and 12-3 in 5 inning mercy rule games. SSC had a great day in all aspects of the game, as they committed no defensive errors, hit .448 as a team and the pitching staff allowed only 6 hits.

Seminole will host Eastern Florida State in its home opener. The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 12 noon on Saturday.

About the Seminole State Raiders:
