CMI Schedule Announced

Tournament protocols included

SANFORD, FL - The annual CMI Softball Tournament schedule has been announced. The weekend's games will be played at Boombah Soldiers Creek, site of the 2021 FCSAA State Tournament in May.

The Raiders will play once on Saturday and twice on Sunday. SSC will open on Saturday at 11:30 am with Gulf Coast. On Sunday Seminole will play Pensacola State College at 11:30 am and Tallahassee at 1:30 pm.

Fans are allowed at all games over the weekend (Seminole State will be hosting Miami-Dade on Friday at 4:00 pm, also at Boombah). A link (right) is available outlining the facility policies. Masks are required when social distancing is not possible.

Ticket prices are as follows:
  • Friday - $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and youth (14 & under), free to any youth wearing a team uniform
  • Saturday - $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and youth, free to any youth wearing a team uniform
  • Sunday - $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and youth, free to any youth wearing a team uniform
  • Weekend passes can be purchased on Friday and Saturday (good for all weekend) - $20 for adults, $10 for seniors and youth 
There will be no streaming by Seminole State.  

RAIDER NOTES:

  • Coach Miller won her 1,000 career game on March 17, 2018. 
  • The 2020 team was 28-1 prior to the pandemic and has a remarkable 179-44 record over the previous four seasons
  • The Raiders have qualified for 17 consecutive FCSAA State Tournaments
  • Seminole State will serve as host of the NJCAA Region 8 Tournament May 7-10, 2021 at Boombah Soldiers Creek

  • Admission for regular season games is $5 for Adults, $3 for Youth (12&Under). Season Tickets are $30.

About the Seminole State Raiders:  The Raider Athletics Department of Seminole State College was established in 1965 and initially led by Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach Joe Sterling. Seminole State now sponsors five sports all competing in the NJCAA Division I.
