SANFORD, Florida - With five new faces joining the Seminole State Women's Golf team in 2024-25, Coach Christa Teno will have little time for the team to bond. The Raiders open their season hosting the SSC Fall Warm-up Presented by Orlando Health on Saturday and Sunday. The tournament will be held at the venerable Mayfair Country Club. Tee times will begin at 8:44 a.m. on both days and a practice round is scheduled for Friday.
The five starters for SSC are:
Scheduled to compete are: New College, Eastern Florida State College, Florida Gateway College, Palm Beach State College and Palm Beach Atlantic (A & B teams).
RAIDER NOTES:
- The Raiders have won National Championships in 2023, 2022, 2021, 2019Â and 2015
- Seminole State Golf has finished in the top 3 in the Nation every year since 2009 and was #1 in the NJCAA at the time of cancelation of the 2019-20 season (Covid)
- The 2022 National Championships were hosted by Seminole State College at Mayfair Country Club (May 9-12)
- All three Sophomores from the 2024 team committed to playing at four-year Universities (Salysa Mason, Florida International; Rim Imni, Cincinnati; Tabitha Hanely, Flagler College)Â
- The 2024-25 team returns two All-Americans from 2023-24 (Kailey Kleinatland, Jane Huang)
- Coach Christa Teno was named LPGA Coach of the Year (2018) and inducted into the NJCAA Golf Hall of Fame (May 2017)

About the Seminole State Raiders:
