DAYTONA, Florida – Coach Tucker Morgan's Runnin Raiders continue to post strong performances and the ERAU Cross Country Classic was no different. The Women placed 4th out of 13 teams and the Men finished 5th (out of 12 teams). The Raiders were the highest placing FCSAA team in both events; defeating 5 four year schools in both the Women's and Men's races. The women's team average time was 2 minutes faster than the 2023 race. The men's team was 3 minutes faster than last year's race.
Coach Morgan said of the performance, "This was the first 8k for the men, for the freshman, their first 8K ever. Real proud of how the placed. We talked all week to both teams to work on a good pace early, then see who they could pass over the last portion of the race. That is what they did. Good race!"
Seminole will take some time off from competition with their next meet taking place at Florida State in Tallahassee on October 11.
