TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The Seminole State Women's Cross Country team won the FCSAA Region 8 Division 1 Championship on Friday. Freshman Morgan Harvill finished first for the Raiders and SSC placed their top 5 in the top 11 (overall). The Men's team finished third overall behind Daytona State and Eastern Florida. Seminole was; Rachel Horsford, fourth overall (20:48.55), Liliana Flores, 9th (21:02.61), Darcy Cernansky, 10th (21:14.78) and Giannina Rodriguez, 11th (21:16.48).
Both teams will be heading to the NJCAA National meet in Mechanicsville, VA on November 9.
