DADE CITY, Florida - The Seminole State Women's Golf team showed the form that had been missing in recent tournaments. The Raiders finished 9th out of 15 teams, all of which (except SSC) are members of NCAA Division I stratosphere.Â
"Everyone one contributed," noted Coach Christa Teno. "This was a great test for Nationals and I'm pleased with our performance. The course was tough, the greens were fast and both days offered weather challenges. We responded well."
Salysa Mason (cover photo) was the model of consistency with three rounds of 72 for a T13 finish (81 total golfers). The Raiders played sub 300 golf for two out of the three rounds.
The results for the starting five:
   - Salysa Mason - T13, +3 (216) Â
    - Rim Imni - T26, +7 (220)
  - Jane Huang - T32, +8 (221)
  - Tabitha Hanely  - T55, +13 (226)   Â
  - Kailey Kleinatland - T64, +17 (230)
Seminole will next play in Stetson's Babs Steffens Invitational (March 24-26) at the DeBary Country Club. SSC is seeking a NJCAA record fifth straight National Title.
