Women's Cross Country Finishes 20th at Nationals

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The Seminole State Women's Cross Country Team finished a year full of first on Saturday at the NJCAA National Championships. The Raiders, who have never had a Women's Team score at the National meet, finished 20th.

That alone would qualify as a great year, but there were so many other superlatives, consider:
- The team took 27 seconds off the fastest team finish average
- Carly Holadia finished higher than any other female in Seminole State history and shaved 44 seconds off her PR
- Liliana Flores ran a 32 second PR
- Emma Tisdale moved up 5 spots over the last half of the 5k race
- Katherine Ulmer ran a 3 second season best and past 16 runners over the last half of the race
- Aryana Calderon Correa ran a 46 second PR
- Rebecca Angervil ran a 1:09 PR

As Coach Tucker Morgan state, "the foundation has been laid, now its time to start building!"
