DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The start to the Embry-Riddle University Classic is a narrow steep climb. It might be one of the few hills in all of Florida. The course is challenging and rarely provides a good opportunity for a PR. It does provide for great race conditions. Seminole State Cross Country continued to show improvement with a 9th place finish out of fifteen teams.

Six Raiders did set PRs for 8k, this was due to the fact that none had ran a competitive 8k before. Perhaps a better stat is that three individuals (Eric Horanic, Zedrick Williams and Milan Davich) had faster mile averages than during the Valdosta Invite.
Seminole State will now have a few weeks off until heading up to Jacksonville on October 15.
