MACON, Georgia - The last tournament of the fall for the Seminole State Women's Golf team is being hosted by Mercer University. The tournament will have some big names (Cincinnati, Georgia State and Southern Miss to name a few) and will be played on a very hilly course (Brickyard Golf Course). The temps could be a little cool as well in Macon, certainly for the morning tee times. SSC will travel on Saturday, enjoy a practice round on Sunday and play 36 holes on Monday; 18 on Tuesday.
"I'm looking to see how we recover after making a mistake, we don't want any big errors or big numbers. Interested also on how we handle the (hilly and unfamiliar) course. Finally, like to see some leadership and who will step up their game, since we are playing without Minori," noted Coach Christa Teno. Minori Nagano heads to Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Saturday for the Asian-Pacific Am Golf Tournament (an invitation only tournament).
The Raiders'Â starting 5:
Seminole State will also be taking Grace Connelly to compete as an individual.
