ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - The Seminole State Baseball Team won their second straight road game on Monday, 15-8. The Raiders evened up their record at 3-3 with a strong performance on the mound from Sammy Bathermy (upper right) and a spectacular offensive outbursts. The right-handed Freshman threw six solid innings, striking out five and only allowing one earned run.
At the plate, Sophomore Bryan Morales (lower right) hit for the cycle with three RBI and four runs scored. Luke Hatcher (cover photo) followed up his strong Saturday (2 RBI and HR) with a 3-6, 2 R performance. Kishon Frett (3-4, 2 R, 3 RBI, HR) was also a key contributor to the SSC offensive attack. Seminole smacked 17 hits and plated runs in 7 out of 9 innings.
The Raiders return home on Wednesday for another match up with the same St. Pete squad. Brennan Keil will get the start for the blue and gold. This will be Keil's third appearance and his first start. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
