Rachel Minier

Rachel Minier joins the Seminole State College softball coaching staff in August 2024 as an assistant coach. Minier will work closely with the infielders and hitters, while also assisting in all other areas of the program. She brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience. 

Miniers collegiate career began with playing at Seminole State College (2015). In her time at Seminole State she earned 1st team All Mid-Florida Conference her sophomore season and received 2nd team nod as a freshman. She was named to the State Tournament All Star team and hit .354 as a sophomore, producing 68 runs and 65 RBIs in her career with the Raiders. She had 18 doubles, 6 triples and 8 homers and swiped 29 bases. 

After Seminole State, Minier had a stint at NovaSoutheastern University (2016) and Rollins College (2017). While at Nova, she led the team with a .333 batting average and a .400 slugging percentage before a season ending injury. She was named to the 2016 Sunshine State Conference Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll. At Rollins, Minier started 52 games, playing both third base and second base. She ranked fourth on the team with a .308 batting average, scored 35 runs, and drove in 18. She tied for the team lead with 10 doubles, also hit two homeruns. Defensively she earned a .949 fielding percentage, and was a part of turning 19 double plays. 

Following her collegiate playing career, Minier earned an MBA with a Concentration in Finance from Nova Southeastern and began her coaching career. She successfully led competitive Travel Ball Teams in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Her success at the travel level paved the way for her to become the head coach at Timber Creek High school. 

While leading Timber Creek High School, Minier won the 2024 Metro Championship & 2024 District Championship.Â
