Keith Strickland enters his 3rd season as Assistant Coach on the Seminole State coaching staff.
In 2017-18 Head Coach Mike Nicholson named Strickland as Pitching Coach for the Raiders.
For 2019-20 Strickland takes over as the recruiting coordinator as well as his duties as Pitching Coach.
Prior to joining the Raiders staff Strickland was the Pitching Coach and recruiting Coordinator at Saint Leo University from 2008 to 2017. 12 of Strickland’s players at Saint Leo signed professional contracts. His players also garnered many Sunshine State Conference awards as well as NCAA awards.
Strickland also has head coaching experience for the Utica Brewers in the Perfect Game Collegiate Summer League.
Strickland played 4 years of professional baseball, playing for the Ohio Valley Red Coats, the Richmond Roosters, and the Washington WildThings in the Frontier League, as well as for the Northeast Aces and North Shore Spirit of the Northeast League and the Lincoln Saltdogs in the Northern League.
Strickland, a Left-handed pitcher, played his college career at the University of South Florida, becoming team Captain his final two years and helping lead the Bulls two straight NCAA regionals.
Strickland graduated in 2002 with a degree in Marketing and Management information Systems.
