Christa Teno has been the Head Women’s Golf Coach for the Seminole State Raiders since 2007. The former LPGA Tour player was named 2018 LPGA National Coach of the Year and Southeast Section Coach of the Year by the LPGA Membership in 2008, 2012 and 2015. During her tenure, she has coached her team to five National championships (2015, 2019, 2021, 2022 & 2023), five (5) runner-up finishes (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018) and two (2) third place finishes at the NJCAA National Event.
Teno was also instrumental in securing the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championships held at Timacuan Golf Club, May 8 - 12, 2022.
In 2010, the Tecumseh, Ontario native was inducted into the Windsor/Essex County Hall of Fame.

Teno has a bachelor's degree in interpersonal and public communication from North Texas State University (now University of North Texas).
