Former assistant coach at Rollins College. In 2021 helped lead the No. 3 nationally ranked Tars to the highest national ranking in program history, highest fielding percentage in the country, and the fifth conference championship while only losing two games.Â
Masso put together a successful career wearing the Blue & Gold At Rollins as a team leader in the dugout and on the field. An excellent athlete and a player that would do whatever it takes to win, Sid played multiple positions as needed and excelled each time and started all but two games for the Tars. Over the two-year span, the Tars compiled a record of 78-29-1 reaching the NCAA postseason in both seasons. Masso's senior season was highlighted by the team winning their first-ever NCAA Regional Championship.
Prior to Rollins, Masso had a highly decorated career at Santa Fe College where she led the Saints to the NJCAA National Championship Finals while earning NFCA All-American honorable mention. Her success also garnered All-NJCAAÂ National Tournament honors and Mid-Florida Conference First Team and All-State accolades. She played in every game over her two years finishing her career with a .357 batting average, 14 home runs, and 72 RBI.
In her spare time, Masso serves as a volunteer head coach for one of the most renowned 18u Gold travel clubs in Florida, Hatters Gold. Her teams captured 26 championships in local, regional, and national tournaments with a record of 192 - 34. A motivational leader, she took pride in developing players and moving them on to the next level as 107 players signed athletic scholarships.
A graduate of Eau Gallie High School (Melbourne, Fla) in 2012, Masso carried the team to a state championship and two final-four appearances. She boasted a .412 batting average and a sparking .996 fielding percentage with the team.Â
Academically, Masso holds a Bachelors Business Management from Rollins (2016) and an MBA of Finance and Accounting from Florida Tech (2017). She currently works Stax, an Orlando-based financial technology leader where she also sits on the Board of Directors for Diversity Inclusion.Â
