Joining the Seminole State Staff Spring of 2026, Bianca Cruz is a Florida local from Melbourne, FL. Graduating from Space Coast High School as a 3x MVP and 2x Outstanding Female Athlete, she continued her career playing Division 1 softball at Florida State University and finished at Alabama State University.
During her college years, she also participated in the Women’s Puerto Rican National Softball Team in the Pan-American Games. Currently, Cruz is moving into her 5th season of professional softball in Puerto Rico, playing for organizations such as the Gigantes de Carolina and Caribenas de Salinas. Totaling 20 years of softball experience in all levels of the game. She also has a good standing medical background working in environments such as Athletic Training, Medical Assistant, and Anesthesia Technician in the operating room. She is currently AHA BLS/CPR and First Aid certified.
Cruz has been coaching this game for 14 years in all aspects of the game with a wide variety of ages and skill levels. Coaching at facilities such as Dingers and DBats Oviedo. As well as working with Viera High School softball in Spring 2025 as the Varsity Assistant Coach. In addition, she has participated in assisting and instructing camps and clinics for organizations such as USSSA, Nike Sports, DBats, Dingers, ProSwings, and FSU Camps. Bianca is most passionate about teaching and challenging the in-game strategies and IQ, as well as utilizing her understanding of anatomy to guide players to grasp body awareness and attention to detail to maximize their output.
