In 2018-19 Head Coach Mike Nicholson named Derek Wolfe as Assistant Coach for outfielders and Bench coach.
In 2019-20 Wolfe assumed duties as the hitting Coach and oversees the Infielders as well as coach 3rd base during games.
Wolfe has spent the summers coaching in the American Association Independent Professional League. Since 2019, for the Sioux City Explorers and in 2018 for the Gary South Shore Railcats.
Wolfe spent seven seasons an assistant coach at UCF, 5 seasons as Head Coach at Hiawassee College as well as stints as Head Coach at Trinity Prep and Seminole High Schools. Eighteen players have signed professional contracts under Coach Wolfe's watch.
Wolfe has also coached and been an administrator in the Florida Collegiate Summer League from 2005 to 2008. He was named Coach of the Year in 2005.
Derek is the founder of “Wolfe’s Path” a mentoring and training program for athletes.
