AUBURNDALE, Florida - It has been some 45 weeks since Seminole State Baseball has played a baseball game. On Friday the Raiders took the field and tried to enjoy the game that they all love. It wasn't perfect, but it was fun and it was exciting as SSC came from behind on three different occasions to win 7-6 over the Pensacola Pirates in 10 innings.

Edgar Alvarez (4-6, 1R, 3H), Marcos Sevillano (3-5, 1R, 3H) and Zach Levenson (2-6, 1 RBI, 2H) lead the offense for the Raiders. Levenson knocked in the go ahead run in the top of the 10th inning.

Cameron Carter (right) got the start and ate up 4 innings. The Right-hander from Georgia scattered four hits and struck out three. Timber Creek High School product, Andrew Spolyar (lower right) picked up the win, throwing 1 2/3 innings allowing one run on two hits and striking out two.

The Raiders head back to Auburndale on Saturday for a 3 p.m. show down with Palm Beach State. Rese Brown is the scheduled starter.
